Artist Bio

An Sheng (b. 1988, Shanghai) is a Sydney-based realist painter whose work bridges classical techniques with a modern aesthetic. With a Master of Contemporary Art from the University of Sydney, An Sheng’s art examines themes of memory, cultural heritage, and the interplay between nature and human influence. Through a meticulous approach to traditional craftsmanship, their paintings evoke both personal introspection and universal resonance.

An Sheng’s work has been exhibited in notable Australian venues such as the Bondi Pavilion Gallery and Newcastle Art Gallery and is held in collections including Blacktown City Council and Albert Park College.
